Overview

What this program does

The Mentor-Mentee program serves as an opportunity to connect underclassmen with upperclassmen for support as they grow during their early years at Pitt. Throughout the semester, our Mentor-Mentee Coordinators will organize monthly events for mentors and mentees to meet with each other and develop a sense of community. Mentors and mentees will also be encouraged to meet up outside of formal events to further facilitate a sense of community and support.

Current initiatives

Our Mentor-Mentee Coordinators plan to organize monthly events, such as building competitions, game nights, workshops, etc., to help our mentors and mentees connect with each other. In addition, our coordinators are developing a special point system to encourage our mentors and mentees to meet up outside of formal events to ensure that our mentees feel supported in their early years at Pitt (More information to come).

Information on how to sign up as a Mentor or Mentee will be coming out soon, so be sure to keep an eye out!
