Our Academic Excellence (AEX) Chair is responsible for maintaining the academic standards within our chapter and providing opportunities for students to improve academically. They do this through weekly 'Study Jam' activities, often held in the Hillman Library, in which students can collaborate with each other to improve their understanding of any confusing topics. Additional, the AEX Chair conducts our bi-annual Study-A-Thon activities, where professors hold study sessions during the last week of the semester to help students better prepare for their finals.
Our Academic Excellence Chair is focused on coordinating study support and professional development for chapter members, including our weekly Study Jams and the mandatory Study-A-Thon review sessions ahead of finals. In addition to organizing these academic resources, the AEX Chair leads professional development workshops, tracks chapter GPAs, and compiles the chapter Resume Book to support members' academic and career success.
